Winchester’s power duo Capital X continue their white-knuckled call-to-arms with their inspiring, self-produced new cut ‘Majesty’. Following on in the ferocious vein of previous singles ‘Teeth’, ‘Diamond Hard’ and ‘In Us We Trust’, Julz B and Ruby C use 80s lo-fi synths, rat-tat-tat beats and fiery lyrics to expand their project of independence and self-empowerment. Speaking of the track the band have stated, “Majesty is a true confidence that doesn’t ask permission or seek approval. It’s the clarity that comes when you stop playing the game and step out of the race. The power and beauty of just letting go. We all bleed red when we fight for gold. Majesty is the integrity of fighting for what you believe in.” The track comes packaged with a strobing monochrome video (also directed by the band) which gives a taste of this group’s formidable energy.
